History

Love of God, family, and neighbor motivated a small but determined group in the 1880’s “to realize the need of a Baptist church in this community.” Because of this love, Berry’s Grove Baptist Church was established on March 17, 1888, with a charter membership of ten. Since that time, God has richly blessed Berry’s Grove, both numerically and spiritually.

In addition to a vibrant Sunday morning worship, there are opportunities for all ages to grow through Bible study groups and to serve through the various ministries of the church, as well as on mission trips doing disaster relief work and sharing the gospel. Every member is important and has a purpose to serve in the body. Our prayer is that we would honor the faithfulness of those 10 charter members by continuing to spread the love of Christ in our community until the day of His return.
