Our Children’s Ministry
Berry’s Grove has a Children’s Minister who coordinates the activities for the children and usually helps to lead the activities. She is available to discuss Christian education concerns.
Berry’s Grove has a Security Team that is active before Sunday School and until after the Worship Service. They are available to help you find the Nursery and Classrooms. Security is also on site during special activities.
All children’s workers are background checked.
Children’s Parties: Berry’s Grove typically has children’s parties 3 times a year: Christmas, Winter (mid-February), and Easter. The parties include games, crafts, snacks, and a Bible lesson for 4 year olds to 5th grade. The parties are held in the gym in the Family Life Center.
Vacation Bible School (VBS): Vacation Bible School is held during the summer, typically mid-July. VBS runs for 5 evenings, from Sunday through Thursday. VBS includes opening and closing rallies, games, crafts, snacks, music, and a Bible lesson. Classes are for 3 year olds through adults. There is a nursery available for infants through 2 years old for those attending the adult class.
Fall Festival: The Fall Festival is traditionally held each year on the evening of October 31. There is a multi-car Trunk or Treat, inflatables (slides, obstacle course, etc), refreshments, and other activities. All ages are welcome.
