A.C.T.S. Craft Ministry
A.C.T.S. stands for “Arts & Crafts to Serve” and was born out of our 2023 church study known as “Experiencing God.” Its purpose is to bring women together who are interested in learning new craft skills or using ones they already have, both for their own use and enjoyment and also as a means of outreach and ministry. For example, prayer shawls have been made and given, and one of our biggest projects has been our “Pocket Hearts” ministry cards that have been used by our congregation in numerous ways to encourage people and to share the good news of the gospel. A.C.T.S. has periodic events throughout the year that include food, fellowship and a craft. In addition, A.C.T.S. meets monthly on the 4th Monday of the month at 1:00 p.m. in the Social Room located in the Family Life Center. The Monday group brings whatever they are working on, and all put together Pocket Heart cards for distribution; it’s also a time for learning to crochet, make Pocket Hearts, or gift boxes from recycled greeting cards, or to draw and color – all while getting to know one another better and enjoying good fellowship. Please join us!
